Managed Migration

We take the whole migration: planning, execution, validation. Your teams keep shipping while the estate moves. One accountable partner, a fixed scope, and evidence of what moved.

The migration is our problem. Delivery stays yours.

The deadline is fixed: set by Microsoft’s support lifecycle, a deal’s closing date, or a regulator. The compliance stakes are real. And every engineer you would put on the migration is an engineer taken off the product. A migration is a one-off infrastructure project; your team’s value is everywhere else.

What changes for you: the estate moves, your teams barely notice, and you get evidence rather than assurances. While the migration runs, your people ship product. When it ends, you hold validation reports that show your auditors and your board exactly what moved and what it maps to.

How it works:

  • End-to-end delivery. Planning, tooling, execution, and validation. One accountable partner instead of a coordination problem.
  • History intact. Work item revisions, links, attachments, and test artefacts move with full traceability. Anything the target cannot represent one-for-one is agreed with you up front. Nothing is silently dropped.
  • Delivery continues. Incremental runs while your teams keep working. The final sync and switch happen in a small, planned window. Downtime becomes a design choice, not an inevitability.
  • Proof of completeness. Validation reports showing what moved, not a hand-wave and an invoice.

The scope and price are fixed, and they come from an assessment pilot run against your actual data. That is why the quote survives the project.

This is not for you if you want your team to build in-house migration capability along the way. That is what a guided migration is for.

If the engagement fails to meet the agreed standard, we refund your fee. Expenses are actuals only, with no markup.

Tell me your source, target, and deadline. I'll tell you what a managed migration of your estate takes.

Not sure what your migration actually needs?

Most migrations fail in the planning, not the execution. Tell me where you are today, where you need to be, and what you've already tried. I'll tell you honestly what it will take. If a simpler path fits, I'll point you at it. And if we do work together and the engagement fails to meet the agreed standard, we refund your fee.
